Is your laptop battery dying earlier than usual? It might be that your laptop is getting old, over time the battery wears out and the battery capacity reduces to an inconveniently low amount. Today I will guide you through a quick and simple way of making your laptop battery last longer.
1. Left-click the icon in the bottom left of your main display, and then type ‘Settings’:
2. Open up ‘Settings’ and click ‘System’ > ‘Battery’:
3. Next, you’ll need to check the box for ‘Turn the battery saver on automatically if my battery falls below:’ and then adjust the bar below it to your preferred battery percentage, we recommend doing 20%.
Now, when your battery falls below 20%, it will limit all background activity and limit notifications to not only prolong your battery life but also to increase your computer’s overall performance.
If you don’t notice any changes to your battery capacity and it still runs out fast, then phone us on 01329 535 001, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit our site based in Lee-on-the-Solent and we will provide you with a solution.
